Data Deletion

Requesting deletion

To request deletion of any data about you, write to us at privacy@horadose.com. We will handle your request within a reasonable time.

Website data — the waitlist

If you signed up for the waitlist, the fastest way to remove yourself is the unsubscribe link in every message we send: one click, no sign-in, effective immediately.

You can also write to privacy@horadose.com to ask us to delete your signup. The row is permanently deleted 60 days after an unsubscribe; we then keep, indefinitely, a non-reversible fingerprint of your address — never the address itself — so that you are not contacted again by mistake.

HoraDose app data

Your health data (medications, schedules, doses, mood, journal, appointments, contacts) is stored on your device, in an encrypted database we never have access to. To erase it, delete it from the app's settings, or uninstall the app. If you turned on backup or sync through our servers, erasing from the app removes what is held there too.

Deleting your account, requested from the app's settings, immediately and permanently erases your account and everything about you on our servers — in particular your public keys, every encrypted message in transit between you and a caregiver, and your encrypted backups if you had stored any with us. This cannot be undone.

We keep a single trace of that deletion: an anonymous proof of erasure, made only of a date and a non-reversible fingerprint of a technical identifier. It contains no name, no address and no health data, and cannot be traced back to you.

If you no longer have access to the app: HoraDose never asked you for your name, your email address or your phone number. We therefore have no way of finding your data from an email you might send us. That is deliberate — if we could do it on request alone, anyone could have someone else's data erased.

What remains on our servers is encrypted and unreadable to us. To erase it yourself, reinstall HoraDose: if you had turned on backup, your 24-word recovery phrase gets you back in, and erasing from the settings then removes everything. For any question, write to us at privacy@horadose.com.
