Medication reminders set around your meals
Did your pharmacist say “before meals” or “away from meals”? HoraDose takes your meal times into account. You enter the instruction once. After that, each reminder arrives at the right time around your meal, and you can see when you may eat.

Your meal times, set once
In HoraDose, you give the usual time of your three meals. If one day is different — a Sunday brunch, for example — you give that day its own time.
You can also change the time of a meal for today only.
Before, with or after the meal
For each medication, you choose the timing your pharmacist gave you: before, with or after a meal. You also say how long before or after.
Example: “30 minutes before lunch”. If you eat at noon, the reminder arrives at 11:30 a.m.
Eating later? The reminder follows
When you change the time of a meal, the doses tied to that meal move with it. Only upcoming doses move: what you have already taken stays recorded at its real time.
Tie a medication to a meal only if your pharmacist’s instruction says so: some medications are taken at a fixed time, even when the meal changes.
Sitting down to eat now? An “I’m eating now” button may appear on the meal. It is never required.
A food restriction? You see when to eat
Some medications come with a food-related instruction to follow around the dose. In HoraDose, this is a “food restriction”. You enter how long it lasts before and after the dose, as your pharmacist explained it. You can add a note, such as the food to avoid.
- During the restriction, the home screen shows the time left.
- Each meal shows the window when you can eat, for example “11:15 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.”.
- If a meal falls during a restriction, an orange marker lets you know. You always have the final say on your meal times.

Frequently asked questions
Does HoraDose tell me when to take my medication around a meal?
No. Your pharmacist or doctor gives the instruction. HoraDose remembers it and places your reminders around your meal times.
What happens if I skip a meal?
HoraDose keeps the planned time of the meal. To know what to do with your medication if you do not eat, ask your pharmacist.
Is it free?
Yes. Meal times, instructions and food restrictions are part of the free version. Showing them on the watch requires Premium.
