By default, your health data stays on your phone
HoraDose starts with no account, no email address and no password. Your medications, your doses and your notes are saved on your phone, in an encrypted database. We sell nothing, and there are no ads.
No account to get started
On first launch, a few short screens welcome you: your first name, then permission for reminders. No account is asked for.
On your phone, in an encrypted database
Your health data is saved on your device. The database is encrypted: without its key, kept inside your phone, it is unreadable.
What can leave your phone, only if you choose
- A backup, if you turn it on: in your iCloud or your Google Drive, or, with Premium, in the HoraDose cloud or Dropbox. It is encrypted on your phone, and we never hold the key.
- What you share with a loved one, if you use Ensemble. This sharing is end-to-end encrypted.
No ads, no resale
HoraDose contains no ads. Your data is never sold or used for advertising.
This website, for its part, measures its audience without advertising cookies and offers an optional news signup. Everything is explained in the privacy policy.
Frequently asked questions
What happens if I change phones?
Without a backup, your data stays on the old phone. With a backup turned on, you can restore it on the new one.
Can you read my data?
No, not its content. Your health data stays on your phone, and your backups are encrypted with a key we do not have. We only see a few technical details needed for the service, for example that an Ensemble link exists.
