Follow a loved one's doses from afar, with their consent

Does your mother, your father or your partner take medication while you live far away? With Ensemble, the person you support can let you see whether their doses for the day are done. By default, you do not see the names of their medications. They decide, and they can stop whenever they want.

Free test version, on iPhone and Android.

What you see

  • How their day is going: for example “2 of 3 scheduled doses taken”.
  • Whether their day is up to date, or still in progress.
  • By default, never the name or the dose of their medications. If they choose, you also see their medication list, times and doses.
  • Their location, only if they choose to share it. This sharing is off by default.

What you can do

  • Write to them, call them, or suggest a video call.
  • Suggest an appointment or a contact. They accept or decline on their own.
  • If they allow it, prepare changes to their medication list, then send them. They accept or decline each change.
  • If your loved one agrees, be notified when a dose is not confirmed. This alert can arrive late, or not at all: keep up your usual calls.

What you cannot do

Nothing changes without their approval. Every change you suggest waits for their approval, except those they choose to let you make without being asked: they get a notice and can put them back as before. Noting a dose for them is reserved for someone who declares they legally represent them, if they allowed it. Their medications stay theirs.

The person you support decides

The link is created only if they accept it, with a code to scan or enter. They see who supports them and can remove the link at any time.

What is shared — doses, messages, video calls — is end-to-end encrypted: no one else, not even us, can read it.

Ensemble makes it easier to share information with a loved one; it is not a monitoring or emergency service. Keep up your usual calls and visits. In an emergency, call emergency services.

How much does it cost?

It is free for the person being supported. The person who supports them subscribes to the Ensemble plan.

Frequently asked questions

Does my loved one need a smartphone?

Yes. Ensemble connects two phones where HoraDose is installed: yours and your loved one’s.

Can I manage their medications for them?

Not in their place. You can suggest changes, and they accept or decline each one. They can also let you make some without being asked, and put them back as before. Their medications, schedules and confirmations stay under their control.

Will I be alerted if something happens to them?

No. Ensemble is not an emergency service. The alert for an unconfirmed dose can arrive late, or not at all. It does not replace your calls.

A reminder toolHoraDose is a reminder tool. It does not replace the advice of a healthcare professional. Always follow the instructions of your pharmacist or doctor.
