Free Version & Subscription

Free version, Premium and Ensemble plans, store prices, restore a purchase

The app starts free

HoraDose is free to use, with no time limit. The free version includes: unlimited medications and reminders, the history of the most recent days, a limited number of appointments and medical contacts, sharing, export and printing of that period, and an encrypted backup in your iCloud (or your Google Drive on Android). The exact limits are shown on the Plans screen.

All your data is kept safely even beyond these limits — nothing is ever deleted. Older days and extra appointments/contacts become visible again as soon as you upgrade.

When a feature requires a plan

When you tap a feature reserved for a paid plan, a small dialog first presents the feature (its name, a short description, the plan that includes it) and asks whether you would like to see the plans. Tap “No thanks” to stay where you were — the plans screen never opens without your consent.

The plans screen

The “Plans” screen compares Free, Premium and Ensemble: select a plan to see its features, each with its own small drawing. A line at the top of the list says what you get — “Included in the free plan”, “What Premium adds to the free plan”, “What Ensemble adds to Premium”. Close it at any time with the ✕ at the top left.

  • Premium — unlimited history, full-history sharing/export/printing, unlimited appointments and contacts, 3-month and 1-year statistics, Apple Health (iPhone) or Health Connect (Android), Apple Watch, travel mode, label posology scan.
  • Ensemble — everything in Premium, plus “support a loved one”: the doses they share, encrypted messaging, private video visits (minutes included every month), shared appointments and contacts, GPS location.

No account or password is required to purchase a plan.

Choosing a billing option and prices

The large button says what the store is actually offering today: “Start the free trial” when a trial is available to you, “Take the offer” when an introductory price is running, or “See prices” when there is neither — for instance if you have already used your trial. Right below it, one line states the conditions and always ends with “Cancel anytime”.

Tap that button: a dialog lists the billing options actually offered by the store — Annual (best value), Monthly, and sometimes “Lifetime” (one-time purchase, no subscription, only when the store offers it). Prices come directly from the App Store or Google Play, in your local currency. If the option includes a free trial, the dialog says so (“Free trial of X weeks, then [price] — cancel anytime”); otherwise no trial mention appears.

Restore a purchase and promo code

Settings → Subscription lets you discover the plans, manage your subscription (App Store / Google Play), restore your purchases, and enter a promo code.

How long your access lasts

Under Settings → Subscription, a line shows the date that applies to you: “Renews on …” if your subscription renews by itself, or “Access until …” if it will not be renewed (for example access obtained with a promo code, or a subscription you cancelled — you keep it until that date). The Subscription screen repeats the same date and adds “No automatic renewal” where relevant. If your access has no end date, the screen shows “Access with no end date”.
